"Bobby Rubio has two things going for him... One- he can @#$&(^$@ draw!! Two -he can really @$^%(#%@ DRAW!!! That's just my personal opinion. Alcatraz High is a fresh new setting for the same trials and tribulations teenagers go through. The angst is universal but throw in a twist like big robots as hall monitors and you can't help but keep turning the pages. The characters are likable, charming, the guys cool, the girls HOT. The sports are KICK ASS. Bobby has it all, action, drama, comedy wrapped up in concrete walls and floodlights that is the setting of Alcatraz High. You don't wan to get detention here. But the girls may be worth it."
-Mark Andrews Storyboard artist of The Incredibles, Samurai Jack, Iron Giant, and Spider-man the movie.

"Hot cheerleaders, giant robot football players, a school in lock-down, oh, and did I mention the hot cheerleaders. These are just some of the exciting elements that make up the new comic "Alcatraz High" by break-out talent Bobby Rubio. The visuals are packed with personality and cinematic story telling, all rolled up into something that can only be described as a big budget animated movie in comic book form. It's choked full of full of fun and excitement. More comics like this, please!"
-J. Scott Campbell Artist and creator of "Danger Girl"
